Space to breathe. Room to grow.
The Approach
At The Rooted Shed, therapy isn't about "fixing" you — because you're not broken. It's easy to feel like you are, though, in a world of filters, false ideals, endless scrolling, and the pressure to keep up.
"You're not broken"
What I offer is a quiet, honest space to slow down and actually look at what's going on underneath — no judgment, no pretending I've got it all figured out. What I do have is the willingness to sit with you in the mess and help you make sense of the noise.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic thinking, but I'm not precious about it — I'll draw on relational and integrative work too, depending on what you actually need.
Your mental health deserves the same investment as your physical health. Therapy is time and space to breathe, reset, and grow, so you can move through a fast-paced world a bit more clearly, a bit more steady, and a bit more connected to yourself and the people around you.
Who I work with
Couples therapy, sex and relationships — the patterns, ruptures, and disconnects that show up between people, not just within them. And support for education staff carrying the emotional weight of their work, which is close to my heart, having sat on that side of the desk myself.
The initial consultation is free, no strings attached. It's a 50-minute conversation to work out whether we're actually a good fit — because that matters more than either of us pretending it doesn't.
